Title: Data Architect (100% onsite)
Must-have skills:
5-10 y of exp as a Data Architect; Oracle; lead or SME exp; enterprise-wide data modeling and database design; data architecture, large-scale data modeling, database design,
Business requirements analysis; coaching/mentoring exp.
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension(s)
Requirements:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
Experience with large and complex database management systems (7+ years);
Experience with data architecture, large-scale data modeling, database design, and business requirements analysis (5-10 years);
Experience working in an Oracle environment;
Technical leadership experience in data architecture.
Preferred:
Experience with the best practices in data modeling techniques including various normalization, dimensional modeling, and their appropriate usage in various solutions;
Experience with large-scale enterprise and data warehouse initiatives, involving multiple departments;
Experience with data visualization, data migration, and data modeling;
Experience with relational database management systems, DBMS software, including SQL Server;
Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and natural language processing;
Experience with data mining and modeling tools, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data;
Experience with database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes;
Experience transferring skills, mentoring, and ability to communicate technical documentation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Control project from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design;
Collaborate with IT teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses industry requirements;
Build an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture;
Research new opportunities for data acquisition;
Identify and evaluate current data management technologies;
Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data flows through an organization;
Develop data models for database structures.
