Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound provider inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, compassionate manner.
- Provide detailed explanations regarding medical group operations and managed care procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technological issues related to healthcare operations.
- Maintain effective communication and foster positive relationships with providers and team members.
- Ensure adherence to established standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and patience when handling complex provider concerns.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- At least six (6) months of customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
- Experience dealing with problems and complaints with a high level of patience and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications is a must.
Key Qualifications:
- One (1) year of experience in medical groups, HMOs, or IPA operations within a managed care setting (preferred).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) - written and verbal communication skills are required.
- High technological aptitude with a knack for troubleshooting and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and providers.
