As a Remediation Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive project scopes with a focus on quality assurance and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Foster and sustain strong working relationships with clients and third-party contractors, addressing any concerns transparently.
- Ensure the accurate completion of all regulatory reporting to uphold compliance on behalf of clients.
- Guide and mentor project managers and team members, promoting professional growth and performance excellence.
- Collaborate with senior management to assess and refine business processes across departments.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team, responding promptly to internal and external inquiries.
- Support the ongoing training and development of project managers while staying informed on industry standards.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment up to 20 pounds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Waste Management, Health, Safety, Emergency Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of managerial experience, particularly in hazardous material response and emergency spill response.
- Relevant certifications such as HAZWOPER, IHMM, RCRA, DOT, and OSHA are essential.
