Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with offshore teams to deliver consistent and efficient support for our Oracle systems.
- Lead proactive monitoring and reporting initiatives, actively seeking enhancements in Oracle processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory standards for the Oracle platform.
- Manage critical service level agreements (SLAs) and uphold performance metrics.
- Oversee incident management for Sev.1 and Sev.2 issues, ensuring timely escalations.
- Analyze architectural modifications and capacity planning to align with future demands.
- Stay abreast of the latest Oracle technologies and actively contribute to our cloud strategy.
- Develop and articulate a visionary technical roadmap for our Oracle infrastructure.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation for new projects to facilitate future reference and leadership review.
- Take the lead in disaster recovery (DR) testing and refine DR procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with the central software team on Oracle license management matters.
Required Skills
- Profound knowledge of Oracle database technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with the Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with RMAN and shell scripting.
- Understanding of Windows Server environments and data center infrastructure.
- Strong project management skills with a solid grasp of IT governance principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma coupled with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience.
- At least 5 years of direct experience with Oracle technologies, such as Oracle Database, Web Logic, or Fusion Middleware.
- Proven leadership experience in managing technology-related projects or small teams.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences, Information Technology, or Computer Science is preferred.
