Position: Agile Coach/Agile Transformation Lead
Location: Baltimore City , Md need local Hybrid
Duration: 6+months
Mode of Interview: Skype
Must Have:
- Active Agile certifications (CSP, SPC, ACC)
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks
- Current or very recent work experience with an asset management or investment management company (highly preferred)
- Professional communication skills
- Able to be in office 2-days/week (Baltimore City)
Key Responsibilities:
- Baseline Assessment: Evaluate current processes and culture to identify Agile transformation opportunities at the domain level.
- Transformation Design: Create and implement a customized strategy to enhance Agile practices and standards across business and technology teams.
- Product Taxonomy Development: Lead the development of product hierarchies to strengthen product ownership and improve business-IT alignment.
- Operating Model Development: Recommend optimizations to organizational structures that support Agile practices and foster collaboration.
- Career Pathways: Partner with HR to redesign career progression pathways, nurturing talent within Agile teams.
- Change Management: Collaborate with change management leaders to promote Agile values and practices.
- Training & Workshops: Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops, providing hands-on coaching to teams and stakeholders.
- Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs to measure adoption success and provide progress updates to senior management.
- Community & Culture: Develop Agile communities to support continuous learning and promote a Lean-Agile mindset across product teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, management, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience driving Agile transformations in large organizations, preferably in financial services.
- Agile certifications (CSP, SPC, ACC) are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Lean-Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with the ability to tailor them to organizational needs.
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner, with relevant domain expertise preferred.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to guide individuals and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with senior executives.
- Proven track record in developing strategies, conducting assessments, and making recommendations for organizational change.
