Job Summary: The in vitro pharmacology team is looking to hire a Senior RA to help develop cell models in relation to our neuromuscular (KER-065) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (KER-012) programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute a wide array of experiments in cellular and molecular biology.
- Perform cell culture routinely; establish and characterize innovative cell lines for disease modeling and pharmacology studies.
- Develop protocols for diverse assays, meticulously documenting and sharing research findings with colleagues.
- Actively contribute to the design and troubleshooting of experimental studies, nurturing collaboration with biology teams and cross-functional project groups.
- Provide essential support for the daily operations of biology labs.
Qualifications:
- M.S. or B.S. in cell biology or related disciplines.
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to: primary cell culture, RT-qPCR, western blotting, siRNA/shRNA silencing, CRISPR/CAS9 knockout, plasmid construction and preparation, lentiviral/retroviral transduction, SPR, flow cytometry, and ELISA-based assays.
- Proficiency in cell culture techniques, including both immortalized cell lines and primary cells.
- Previous exposure to organoids or multicellular culture models is highly regarded.
- Effective communication skills and ability to present data is required.
