Job Overview: The Financial Transformation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving strategic changes in the financial operations of the organization. This role involves leading the implementation of financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, project management, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial transformation strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance financial processes, reporting, and systems.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of financial transformation projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Change Management: Manage the change management process to ensure smooth transitions and effective adoption of new financial systems and processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, finance teams, and other key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transformation initiatives comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of finance team members in new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, including experience with financial transformation projects and change management.
- Skills: Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex financial transformation initiatives. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial systems and software, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel skills. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change effectively.
