Role Overview
Auggie is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of Auggie’s suite of software applications helping existing and expecting parents to navigate parenthood. In this role, you will lead the development of Auggie’s Community and Marketplace applications. Additionally, you will work hand-in-hand with Auggie’s Chief Product Officer (CPO) to shape the product and data architecture, drive technical decisions, and evaluate feature feasibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of Auggie’s Community and Marketplace applications.
- Collaborate closely with the CPO to shape the product roadmap, architecture, and feature feasibility.
- Provide input on and help define data architecture and ensure scalability.
- Make key decisions on software architecture, technology stack, and development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, etc.) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a focus on consumer-facing web applications.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with product leaders to influence product and architecture decisions.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including ReactJS and NextJS.
- Experience with GraphQL servers and accessing databases via GraphQL.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Amplify for front-end hosting.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative approach.
