Location: Addison, TX (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Summary:
The VP, Technology Services & Security will oversee the technical infrastructure, user services, and cybersecurity initiatives for two healthcare companies, operating under a shared services model. This role will ensure the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of cloud-based systems, while also managing end-user services (help desk) and security teams. The VP reports to the CIO, and will work closely with other senior technology leaders to support and enhance the company's technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the strategic vision for IT infrastructure, support services, and security aligned with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and prioritize technology initiatives.
- Develop roadmaps for infrastructure, structure, and security enhancements.
Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including cloud services, storage, networks, and assets.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems.
- Manage the cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and provide appropriate control to other tech teams.
Technical Support & Service Management
- Lead the IT Support team to deliver high-quality technical assistance and customer service to internal users.
- Implement IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and technology innovation.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies to protect digital assets and data.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as SOC2 Type II, ISO, NIST, and GDPR.
- Oversee security audits, reviews, and training programs to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contracts align with SLAs, milestones, and corrective actions.
- Oversee the IT budget for infrastructure, support, and security, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Develop comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure robust backup and recovery processes are in place and tested regularly.
Team Management:
- Lead a team of approximately 15 individuals:
- 8 Helpdesk/IT Support: Primarily focused on managing the rapid growth within the organization.
- 4 Cloud Architects/Network Systems Engineers.
- 1 Information Security Specialist (with plans for a SOC 2 compliance role).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in senior management overseeing infrastructure, support, and security.
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (especially Azure), network architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT service management.
- Strong experience with Azure is a must.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams and drive strategic initiatives.
