Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced
Development Associate for our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization in
Sun Valley, California! This is a wonderful full-time, on-site, contract opportunity to join an inspiring as well as mission-driven team!
What youll be doing:
- Manage, maintain, and optimize the donor and member database to support fundraising efforts, member relations, and advancement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate data entry, timely gift acknowledgement, and thorough reporting of donations and memberships.
- Produce regular reports and analytics on donor activity, trends, and fundraising performance to contribute to the organizations advancement goals.
- Collaborate with the advancement team to refine strategies and enhance donor engagement through data-driven insights.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of donor communications, acknowledgements, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Utilize strong research and analytical skills to interpret donor data and generate actionable insights for improving fundraising and member relations.
- Maintain and update donor management systems and tools, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed to further the organization's fundraising and development efforts.
- Report to the Executive Director and work closely with the advancement team to align database management with organizational goals.
What you need to be successful:
- 2+ years of administrative/development/fundraising experience for a non-profit organization.
- Proficiency with Bloomerang, Shopify, and Monday.com is a plus!
Compensation:
Pay rate of $32/hour plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits, an employee retirement plan, and more!
