We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Temporary Human Resources Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in HR for a long term assignment with one of our Entertainment/Tech clients. In this role, you will support the HR department with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to handle sensitive information with discretion, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including data entry, filing, and maintaining employee records.
- Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding/offboarding procedures.
- Help process and track employee documentation, such as contracts, benefits enrollment, and leave applications.
- Manage HR-related inquiries from employees, providing assistance or directing them to the appropriate person.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining HR documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying necessary information.
- Coordinate and assist with employee engagement activities or HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a support capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and employment laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position is 100% onsite in the El Segundo area
Hourly rate: $30-$35 per hour+ DOE
