Job Summary:
As a Microsoft Support Engineer at Ultima, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise on the Microsoft Workspace Suite, with a strong focus on Intune and application packaging. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft Workspace Suite, particularly focusing on Intune and application packaging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Intune, application deployment, and management.
- Develop and maintain application packages for deployment via Intune.
- Assist with the configuration and management of Intune policies and profiles.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and client-specific solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with other IT professionals and departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Support Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Workspace Suite, with a strong emphasis on Intune.
- Proficiency in application packaging and deployment.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must reside in the state of Oregon.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Intune Specialist).
- Azure experience
- Azure Devops
- Server Support
- Scripting
- Ansible/Terraform
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft services and products, such as Azure AD, Office 365, and Windows Server.
