Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area. They develop software, services, products, and hardware devices.
CONTENT WRITER 1
- Summary:The main function of a Content Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.
- Job Responsibilities:Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication

This role provides the opportunity to gained a lot of increased visibility and this team is a central of AI documentation for Operations under the client Health division.Unique Selling Points: Preventing and minimizing impact to customers. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Top 3 Skills:
1. 1-2 years of experience writing, editing, and communicating with stakeholders
2. 1-2 years of experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
3. Some background (not extensive or fancy) in AI or Machine Learning (ML) is nice to have; not required.
Years of Experience: 1-2 overall years of experience in the field.
Qualifications:
Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to read some programming code
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Degree/Certs: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or English, journalism, communications or work equivalent experience is required to be eligible for this role.
Disqualifiers: None listed.
Best: Some background (not extensive or fancy) in AI or Machine Learning (ML) is nice to have; not required.
PI: Feedback from team & Sponsor. Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Start & End: 10/14/2024 – 6/30/2025.
Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs a week, no OT expected.
- Typical Tasks: The role will consist of:Publishing and documenting new features
- Lot of Systems that are being supported internally that will need to be documented.
- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
Interaction Level: High level of interaction with Team & Sponsor.
Work Environment: Remote.
Flex Hours/Remote: Offsite – remote.
Extension: Potentially, if the sponsor has budget into the next fiscal year.
