Rocky Mountain Solar Co. is dedicated to bringing sustainable energy resources to homes and businesses in Western Canada. Our mission is to make solar energy easy to understand through technology and communication to our customers.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager, will manage multiple projects provide hands on assistance in supporting solar systems installations on commercial and residential properties.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the planning, execution and delivery for residential and commercial solar projects
- Contact and develop relationship with customers during sales and project handover to outline requirements and timelines for their solar installation
- Act as a trusted point of contact for our customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee all stages of project from planning, execution and wrap-up
- Plan, organize and direct daily and weekly activities for production team
- Communicate project scope and deliverables to Superintendent and Crew Leads
- Monitor project progress and determine next steps when barriers happen
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
- Proactively plan and communicate to customers for construction delays due to weather conditions
- Support in building relationships between customers and production teams
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills in planning, organizing and execution on residential and commercial projects
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication whereby communicating project updates to all stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues
- Valid driver’s license
