Robert Half is working with a distributor in the Miami Area who is seeking a Billing clerk on a contract to permanent basis. As a billing clerk, you must have strong attention to detail and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and to safeguard our income.
Overview
- Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.
- Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
- Check the validity of debit accounts.
- Update accounts receivable databases or records with new payments, balances, customer information, etc.
- Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills.
- Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary.
- Report the results of financial transactions (e.g., accounts receivable, invoicing, etc.) to the upper management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
