Job Responsibilities
- Supervision of IT Team and Technology vendors (Application, Security, helpdesk, and System Administration).
- Work closely with the region’s CISO to keep the IT environments safe and secure and meet Part 500 regulatory requirements.
- Develop strategies and design for the bank's Information Technology within an approved budget.
- Oversee and Manage Technology Infrastructure and Architecture
- Implement controls to comply with Bank’s Policies, Procedures and Government and Banking Regulations
- Coordinating with departments regarding resolution of program issues and implementation of special projects
- Assist in the planning and organizing of I.T. Operations Committee (ITOC) Meetings
- Communicating to the ITOC and senior management any challenges as it relates to goals and objectives.
- Maintain close coordination with the Information Security Department, IT Security
- Team Cyber Security, and overall plans of ensuring a secure and efficient IT Infrastructure.
- Implementation, administration and management of technology products,
- systems, infrastructure.
- Implementation, Management and Administration: Configure, Administer, Manage and Monitor: Core Network (Fortinet Firewalls and FortiAnalyzer, Dell EMC Switches), DELL EMC Storage and Hosts (Compellent), VMWare Virtual Environment (VM’s, Hosts, Datastores, Networking, Encryption, Access, SRM, V Realize, etc.), DELL IDPA (backup solution), Endpoint Security system, CCure system, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, ManageEngine systems.
- Monitor and maintain network health and security of LAN and WAN for all NBP USA Branches and Datacenters (New York, Washington DC, Virginia).
- Management of all IT equipment including peripherals.
- Management, Administration and Maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, OU, GPO, Access, and Permissions, AD Connect, Azure AD and Intune.
- Service Desk: Provide help desk technical support; user onboarding/offboarding.
- Generate and Distribute IT related reports.
- Ensure compliance with software and hardware licensing.
- Determine software/hardware needs of the Bank.
- Ensure compatibility, functionality, updating and maintenance of all vendors’ systems and software.
- Verify systems to ensure compliance of hardware/software with NBP Policies and Procedures.
- Perform End of Day Processing for E-GIFTS payment and messaging
- system.
- Telephone System (VOIP) Maintenance.
- Procurement: Prepare purchase requests for IT related software and
- hardware products, licensing, subscriptions, warranties, and support as per procurement program, and procedure.
- Report on Health Status and Capacity Metrics of Core Network and
- Infrastructure Systems.
- Ensure compliance with software and hardware licensing.
- Produce assessments and determine software/hardware needs of the Bank
- Verify systems to ensure compliance of hardware/software with NBP Policies and Procedures.
- Update & Maintain the NBPUSA Domains and DNS.
- Manage, Administer the Telephone Systems and User Managements
- Keep track of new products in the market and provide feedback to the members of the IT Department and ITOC.
- Implement hardening controls and configurations.
- Prepare purchase requests for IT related software and hardware products, licensing, subscriptions, warranties, and support: then present them to the Procurement Committee for approval.
- Coordinate with Management, Operations, and Internal Compliance departments regarding IT related observations by Auditors/Examiners.
- Assist the COO, CCO and CEO – Americas Region with preparation and handling of special projects.
- Generate and Distribute IT related reports to CISO for Review.
- Configure, Administer, Manage and Monitor: Endpoint Protection, Security systems, Application Servers.
- Ensure compatibility, functionality, updating and maintenance of all vendors’ Application systems and software.
- Perform system patches (Microsoft and third-party) and updates using patch management procedure and technology.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- IT experience minimum of 20 years in Managing, Administering and Directing IT Department, Infrastructure and Application Systems end-to-end.
- Regulatory Knowledge and Experience. (FFIEC, NYDFS, OCC etc.)

- Networking and IT infrastructure with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Attention to Detail – Must be a highly focused attention to detail professional.
- Extensive Technical Knowledge – Must have expertise with no less than 10 years of experience with technologies such as Microsoft, Firewalls and Switches (FortiGate, Dell), LAN/WAN Configuration and Management, virtualization, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware (VCenter, SRM, ESXi, V Realize), ManageEngine (SDP, AD Audit, AD Manager, DSP0, Dell (Compellent, IDPA and EMC Switches).
- Communication Skills – Stellar communication skills are necessary to strategize, plan and collaborate with colleagues, examiners, and third-party vendors.
- Extensive experience of working with 3rd party service providers. Proactive team player.
- Experience and expertise in IT security and Data protection.
- Experience and expertise in Cloud and mobile technology.
- Adaptability and ability to manage through organizational change.
