Lower Bucks County manufacturer is seeking a Senior Quality Manager for a full-time role. This position will have responsibility to assure all company products meet customer expectations and are compliant with relevant certifications and standards. In this role as the ‘voice of our customer’ you will direct activities to ensure overall quality goals are met and that internal metrics for monthly, quarterly and annual performance are achieved or exceeded.
DUTIES
•Serves as the lead in maintaining ISO9001 and AS9100D certification for the business unit, including leading internal and externally driven audits to assess compliance. Drive corrective measures as required.
•Reviews and validates quality-related requirements associated with customer Purchase Orders and contracts.
•Employ MIL-Spec or applicable industry standards to ensure proper testing and inspection methods.
•Accountable for Incoming, In-Process, and Finished Goods inspection personnel, criteria, standards and processes.
•Develops and maintains standards for Supplier quality, including supplier performance scorecards, Certificates of Compliance, and acceptable supplier performance metrics.
•Prepares or oversees preparation of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
•Performs root cause analysis of customer or internally identified failures, using analysis techniques.
•Serves as a coach, mentor and motivator, facilitating a culture of winning and celebration of achievements.
•Serves as a partner and collaborator to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales, regularly engaging positively across functions to achieve common goals and objectives to move the company forward and ensuring customer satisfaction.
