Job Description Summary
We are seeking a talented and strategic Social Media Manager to lead organic social media channels for KISS Products. In this role, you’ll manage content calendars, support product launches, track social media trends, oversee community management, and report on performance metrics. You will lead a team, including the Social Media/Community Manager for Falscara, and collaborate with external agencies on content creation and community engagement. This position works closely with brand marketing teams and reports to the Director of Lash Marketing. The ideal candidate is social media-obsessed, with a passion for content creation and excellent writing skills. They should be a strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies for KISS Products.
- Manage the social content calendar, supporting launches, promotions, and organic content creation.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, sales, and e-commerce teams to create and deploy content.
- Partner with creative teams to develop assets for product launches and social holidays.
- Coordinate with external agencies for content creation and community management efforts.
- Oversee community management across social platforms for KISS products using Dash Hudson and natively in apps.
- Cultivate brand loyalty by driving engagement, managing influencer partnerships, hosting giveaways, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Write and review copy for social channels in collaboration with the copy and brand teams.
- Monitor product feedback, track brand sentiment, analyze KPIs, and keep an eye on competitor activity.
- Manage invoices and establish KPIs to measure social media performance.
- Boost Instagram posts and initiate TikTok content to enhance engagement.
- Oversee the Social Media/Community Manager for Falscara.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising
- 5+ years of experience in social media management (preferably within the beauty industry)
- 3+ years of experience managing teams/team members
- Proven copywriting skills with relevant writing samples
- Expertise in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook content trends, and community management
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated compensation range is
69,000.00 - 137,000.00 USD Annual
Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
