Our client, a leader in the retail fashion industry, is looking to hire a Remote Business Intelligence Developer. This is a fully remote position, aligned with the PST Time Zone.

As a Remote Business Intelligence Developer, you will drive our client's business intelligence initiatives and enhance analytics capabilities. In this role, you will optimize an advanced BI/Data Mart system, ensuring it delivers measurable business benefits while supporting a dynamic team of data professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for advanced BI analysis projects to align with business objectives, working with Systems and Database Administration to address infrastructure needs and advise on best practices.
- Facilitate project management, documentation, and training for team members in BI tools and analytics.
- Oversee the implementation and improvement of the BI/Data Mart system, focusing on data architecture and ETL, ensuring the data infrastructure is scalable and manage all database objects.
- Manage the analytics data environment, ensuring timely and accurate data refreshes for research.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams for coding in PL/SQL, Perl, and SQL; execute ad-hoc queries.
- Optimize web clickstream data collection and support product managers with data best practices.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of experience working experience as a Data Architect/ BI Architect
- Strong Oracle Experience (8i, 9i, 10g), including PL/SQL, SQL Loader
- Strong ETL Background, working with Data Stage, Informatica, Hummingbird
- 1+ YOE with web analytics such as WebTrends, NetTracker, and Omniture
- Experience with Hadoop, Infobright, HBase is a huge plus!
