Description
The
Associate Project Manager is responsible for working in tandem with the VP of Project Management and perform project management duties to support the completion of projects.
Project management associates participate and/or facilitate during all phases of the project management process from initiation through to closing. Under the guidance of the VP of Project Management, associate project managers schedule, facilitate and lead project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members and track completion of project deliverables to ensure quality and integrity of all project-related products. Associates will be responsible for working with the VP of Project Management to report analyzed data and communicate results. Additional responsibilities include the ability to work independently.
This full-time position is primarily work from home and can be based out of one of our four campuses. Candidate must reside within commuting distance of campus.
This position is remote however may need to go into the office to attend mandatory meetings, required training or cultural events as needed.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have administrative and language and public speaking skills and the understanding of traditional and Hybrid project management methodologies. Certified Associate in Project Management, CAPM preferred or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Understand a project’s scope and create documents for project requirements. Manage the project estimating activities correspondence, tools and updates. Coordinate schedule of activities related to the project coordination, compilation and distribution of project documentation.
- Responsible for regular contact and examination of contributions by the project stakeholders, encompassing representatives from various departments, service providers, and others as appropriate.
- Maintains project schedules and timelines. Monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluating progress and quality and managing issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken. Maintain the quality of all project document/data to assure the integrity of a project.
- Participates in and/or leads project, iteration, vendor evaluation and other meetings. Conduct project meetings to communicate individual roles, project expectations, and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.
- Responsible for administration of an established project and bringing it to a satisfactory conclusion, including all related final documentation, according to established guidelines.
- Performs administrative, project and research tasks for the VP of Project Management.
Seeking Candidates With
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Outlook, Office 365, Word, Excel), Microsoft Project, Internet software and email.

- Negotiation – the ability to negotiate with various stakeholders to get things done efficiently.
- Organization – the ability to bring order to chaos, sort things out, and stay on top of everything.
- Time management – the ability to manage your time and the time of their team.
- Requires a significant amount of administrative work (Recapping)
- Credit union experience a plus.
Salary Range: Starting at $50k
Travel Requirements
Some travel between campus' may be required with this position.
