Job Overview
Join our esteemed organization as a Senior Manager of Capital Project and Asset Management Accounting, where you will play a pivotal role in our Capital Project and Asset Management (CPAM) Accounting team. You will report directly to the Director of CPAM Accounting and will significantly contribute to the management of the month-end closing process, internal and external reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position also entails overseeing our capital forecasting model for financial reporting, identifying process enhancements, fostering staff development, and managing integration plans for recently acquired resorts.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure financial statement accuracy by adhering to accounting policies and internal controls, while executing timely month-end close processes.
- Lead capital forecasting efforts, consolidating and analyzing data, identifying risks and opportunities, and guiding monthly business reviews with senior finance leadership.
- Manage updates and perform variance analysis related to depreciation forecasting, overseeing the depreciation model for guidance and cash flow purposes.
- Collaborate with the CPAM Director to budget and forecast depreciation, amortization, property taxes, and gains/losses on asset disposals.
- Innovate and streamline CPAM processes to enhance long-term operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication regarding capital policies and processes with stakeholders.
- Cultivate leadership qualities by coaching and mentoring staff responsible for capital-related tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.
- Lead integration efforts for acquired resorts, ensuring seamless transitions with stakeholder coordination.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for internal and external audits.
- Address various reporting and analysis requests from leadership as they arise.
Required Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience); CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in team management with increasing responsibility.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills in Excel are highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, including remote teamwork.
- Familiarity with corporate financial systems such as Planful, nVision, Blackline, and PeopleSoft Financials.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent qualification.

Compensation And Benefits
The anticipated total compensation for this position ranges from \(99,900 to \)135,120, along with an annual bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience and qualifications.

We offer a hybrid work model for employees residing within 50 miles of our office, which includes in-person work Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
