Key Responsibilities
Role
As a Litigation Legal Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our attorneys through a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Managing attorney calendars, which involves scheduling conferences, depositions, and travel arrangements.
- Overseeing court dates, filing requirements, and processes for evidence collection.
- Producing and formatting legal documents, including filings for state and federal courts.
- Preparing materials for discovery, arbitration, appeals, mediation, and hearings.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery of crucial documents.
- Drafting correspondence and preparing various legal documents as needed.
- Coordinating with court reporters, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals.
- Maintaining client files while upholding confidentiality.
- Delivering exceptional client service through both in-person interactions and phone communications.
- Assisting in time entry, bill review, and MCLE tracking.
- Supporting team members with various tasks as required.
Required Skills
To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following skills:
- Over 7 years of legal secretary experience, particularly within civil litigation.
- Comprehensive understanding of state and federal filing protocols.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with document management software is essential.
- Strong drafting and proofreading capabilities.
- Proficient knowledge of court procedures and e-filing systems (e.g., Pacer, CM/ECF, EEOC Portal).
- Ability to work independently while anticipating attorney needs.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with effective time and stress management techniques.
- Flexibility in managing multiple projects and changing priorities.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary range: \(75,000 - \)85,000.
