Project Management / Business Development – 2024-25

We are looking for an intern to assist the team with business development and project activities.

Impact Business Development Consulting (IBDC) is a New York-based boutique consulting firm specializing in CPG, food, and beverage solutions. We provide personalized turnkey consulting services to US-based food & beverage companies seeking growth nationwide and international companies scaling into North America. Our team of experts leverages years of successful experience working with and advising global brands to help companies introduce their products and grow their business in the North American market.

YOUR MISSION

Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the part-time assistant (intern) will be supporting the operational implementation of business development and project activities for IBDC to help support our expansion efforts.

Responsibilities include

· Participation in the operational organization of live events including trade shows, workshops and webinars

· Assist in producing or revising marketing and sales content

· Assist in researching data for IBDC or its clients

· Help identify, qualify and contact potential clients for the company

· Support in updating the company’s database & CRM

· At the end of the internship, the intern will increase their skills in the area of business development, research, professional presentations, and much more

Requirements

Candidate must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship
Bilingual French/English preferred
Available for 3 months minimum
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business or relevant field
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Meticulous attention to detail
Must be a self-starter and adaptable with the ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to haves

A keen interest in gaining experience within the consulting world
Interest in the food and beverage industry
Experience in a related field (e.g. Business development, sales or project management) is helpful but not required
Result-driven individual
A drive to learn, try new things, and constantly improve your skills
Resourcefulness in finding information and answers from within and outside the company without prompting or micromanagement; a “consummate” self-starter
Strong team player
