Role Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a project team and managing the successful delivery of projects within scope and established timelines. You will collaborate with stakeholders, create project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
· Team Leadership: Lead and motivate team members, providing clear direction, delegating tasks, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
· Stakeholder Management: Identify project stakeholders and manage their expectations through regular communication and status updates.
· Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with project requirements.
· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
· Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder buy-in.
· Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and project documentation for stakeholders and senior management.
· Problem-solving: Address issues and conflicts that arise during project execution, employing effective problem-solving techniques to maintain project momentum.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or relevant field.
· Proven experience as a project manager, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
· Proficiency in project management tools and software.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Five-years of experience working in cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders is a plus.
Duration of contract: This contract has an end date of March 31st, 2025, with potential of being extended.
