Piper Companies is seeking an
Incident Response Manager to join an established
Hospitality company. This position is
REMOTE.
The
Incident Response Manager will be responsible for managing the Cybersecurity Operations Center, working with a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) to improve security event visibility, detection, and response, while overseeing incident handling and communication
Responsibilities of the Incident Response Manager:
- Lead cyber incident management, including breaches, malware, and security events.
- Coordinate with the MSSP and internal teams for threat detection, analysis, and containment.
- Develop strategies to enhance cyber operations and incident response capabilities.
- Oversee MSSP performance to ensure alignment with security goals and SLAs.
- Maintain and update incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures.
Qualifications for the Incident Response Manager:
- Experience managing Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and incident response teams.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
- Experience working with Managed Security Services Providers and vendor oversight.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proven experience handling complex security incidents like ransomware, breaches, and APTs.
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, threat hunting platforms).
- Experience conducting post-incident reviews and root cause analyses for continuous improvement.
Compensation for the Incident Response Manager:
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 conversion salary ***depending on experience***
