Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team to design, develop, and deploy business applications.
- Mentor and support Junior Software Engineers, facilitating their onboarding process.
- Engage with the team to plan and architect effective solutions.
- Translate user stories into actionable tasks for development.
- Develop high-quality applications while adhering to established coding standards and unit testing protocols.
- Conduct peer reviews of solution designs and code to ensure excellence.
- Provide solution demonstrations as needed.
- Maintain high standards of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility in development.
- Assist business users with third-level support.
- Keep the Scrum board updated and accurately document time spent on tasks.
- Participate actively in Agile meetings and complete an annual Self Review as part of the performance appraisal process.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing enterprise-grade software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
- Exceptional time-management, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Proficient in JavaScript (TypeScript preferred), Node.js, HTML (Pug/Jade preferred), and CSS (SCSS preferred).
- Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript, GIT version control, and modern development environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
