Job Overview
We are actively looking for an accomplished Salesforce Technical Architect to become an integral part of our innovative Digital Platforms CRM IT team. This pivotal role will enhance and streamline Salesforce implementations for our B2B and Retail sectors, harnessing technology to drive our clients’ business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and IT specialists to deliver strategic advice and solutions across various Salesforce projects in Sales B2B, Retail, and Subscription services.
- Engage with internal teams to communicate insights, foster consensus, and align projects with overarching strategic priorities, ensuring effective solutions are implemented.
- Participate in the IT CRM team to evaluate, design, and document solutions that meet business, functional, and technical requirements, while planning for future releases.
- Maintain clear communication during project meetings with stakeholders, including architects, system analysts, project managers, and quality assurance teams, while providing necessary project status updates.
- Document technical solutions for new initiatives and integrations, and propose enhancements for existing technologies.
- Design and develop solutions on the Salesforce platform in accordance with business requirements, utilizing Lightning web components, Apex, SOQL, and emerging technologies.
- Support existing Salesforce integrations and develop new interfaces as required, leveraging Salesforce and third-party APIs.
- Document and code according to established specifications and standards.
- Act as an escalation point for technical challenges, offering guidance and support to team members.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in the IT sector, with at least 7 years dedicated to designing complex, high-transaction, enterprise solutions on the Salesforce Force.com platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning.
- Demonstrated Salesforce expertise with a focus on implementing custom applications and supporting service business processes on Salesforce.com. Familiarity with cloud-based service integrations is beneficial.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ financial billing solutions.
- Strong grasp of CRM best practices combined with a consulting-oriented approach to addressing business challenges.
- Proficiency in web technologies, including HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, and CSS, as well as object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with Salesforce declarative features and administration, such as developing code, custom objects, Lightning components, reports, workflows, and assignment rules.
- Knowledge of APEX triggers, SOQL queries, and stored procedures, in addition to experience using Salesforce.com Web Services APIs.
- Understanding of Integration/Middleware tools like Workato and MuleSoft is a plus.
