Position Overview
In the capacity of an ML Operations Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and sustaining comprehensive machine learning pipelines. You will engage closely with data scientists, engineers, and DevOps specialists to facilitate efficient model deployment, continuous monitoring, and fine-tuning of performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end ML pipelines encompassing model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Deploy machine learning models in production settings, ensuring they meet scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
- Establish monitoring frameworks to assess model integrity, data drift, and model drift.
- Oversee cloud-based infrastructure tailored for machine learning workloads, optimizing both cost and performance.
- Implement version control and model versioning protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to produce solutions aligned with business goals.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in relation to data privacy within ML systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related domain.
- Robust experience in MLOps or DevOps, with practical exposure to deploying machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, along with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Airflow).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control systems (Git), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen interest in resolving complex challenges.
