This structured program offers a unique blend of training and mentorship, allowing residents to integrate seamlessly into the professional nursing culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in a structured training schedule, typically Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours a week, which may include a weekend day during holidays.
- Participate in a preceptorship phase consisting of three 12-hour shifts weekly, adhering to the preceptor's schedule.
- Achieve essential certifications, including BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions and professional development seminars throughout the program.
- Collaborate with mentors to ensure integration into the nursing team and culture.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to self-motivate.
- A passion for patient care and a dedication to providing high-quality healthcare services.
- Adaptability and resilience in diverse healthcare settings.
Qualifications
- Recent graduates from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
- No more than 6 months of RN experience; ideally, candidates should have less than 2 months of hospital experience.
- Current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure required prior to the program start; candidates must obtain an active Florida RN license within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license.
- Previous experience in medical or service industries is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary ranges from:
- Med/Surg & PCU: $29.81
- ICU: $30.94
- Specialty Areas: $32.79
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 contingent on a two-year commitment.
- Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis for out-of-state candidates.
