We are seeking a Community Ambassador to join the Membership Department of a well-established organization in the gem and jewelry industry. This role will focus on building strong member relationships, driving engagement, and supporting key initiatives. The position is eligible for commission on team efforts, with options for hybrid work, depending on location. Occasional weekend travel and additional hours may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead member recruitment efforts, from prospecting to securing memberships.
- Develop strategies to drive membership, advertising, event participation, and program sales.
- Act as the primary contact for members, managing a recruitment pipeline.
- Provide exceptional support to members, keeping them informed and engaged.
- Process membership applications and renewals accurately.
- Identify at-risk members and create retention strategies.
- Represent the organization at industry events and trade shows.
- Prepare reports and collaborate on special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in membership management, customer service, and/or sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with membership databases is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for building relationships and providing outstanding service.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year, plus commission.
