Position Overview
We invite you to become a vital member of our remote team as an Agile Product Coach. In this role, you will mentor and guide product owners in the adoption of Agile principles and best practices, enhancing their effectiveness in product ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor product owners on a Data Science project, imparting knowledge on Agile principles and best practices to improve their skills in backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, and product vision.
- Provide training on techniques for creating and maintaining a well-defined, prioritized, and value-driven product backlog.
- Lead product owners through Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, ensuring preparedness and alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate the development of strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring product objectives meet business goals and customer needs.
- Assist product owners in forming clear product visions and strategic roadmaps that reflect business objectives and customer feedback.
- Introduce and monitor essential product-related metrics, driving data-informed decision-making through analysis of customer satisfaction, business outcomes, and delivery efficiency.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile coach, product owner, or product management professional, emphasizing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
- Demonstrated capability to mentor and guide product owners in Agile practices, product strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of data science and data engineering concepts.
- Proven history of aiding product owners in identifying and resolving bottlenecks and challenges within product development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Compensation And Benefits
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from \(120,000 to \)140,000 annually, with variations based on skills, experience, and location.
