Job Purpose
The IT Project Manager’s role is to provide project management across RJW to drive process efficiency initiatives. These include software implementations, upgrades, and migrations to help streamline, automate, and simplify processes. This is a hands-on position that requires strong skills in project management and change management across cross-functional stakeholders. This role will require the ability to accurately identify issues based on support ticket/request trends from internal and external customers. In addition, this person will need to be able to adapt quickly and have proven ability to manage competing priorities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform end to end Project Management activities from project initiation & planning through execution & delivery, with status reporting, risk & issue management, and client expectation management
- Identify most costly repetitive issues and develop a project plan to rectify or minimize issues moving forward
- Monitor and help maintain balance to resources for support work every day and weekly
- Work with the technical leads, BA’s, different departments, and project team members to document requirements, identify resources, and develop detailed project and resource plans
- Identify immediate issues and risks and work with support team to develop mitigation plans and provide timely escalation
- Provide regular transparency, status reports, and escalate risks and issues impacting project delivery
- Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- A Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Project Management skills including organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills; Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of project management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
- Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies
- Experience with EDI Transactions:
- 940, 945, 856, 850, 210, 214, 204
- Prior experience with SaaS procurement and implementation
- 3rd party integrators, SPS, Open Text
- IPaaS Integrations, Cleo, Boomi, etc
- Cross-functional experience with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics

Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud.
