The Technical Project Manager will take ownership for end-to-end customer/client satisfaction and successfully manage implementations, onboarding, and rollout of projects/initiatives. This position will be responsible for liaising with internal teams/departments such as Product Manager and Developers. They will participate/lead in all phases of assigned projects, including project requirements gathering, project initiation and facilitation, project plan development, risk and issues management, quality planning, communications planning, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget in accordance with business priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Client Engagements: Steer client interactions, drive project tasks, and ensure seamless communication.
- Project Coordination: Plan and oversee project activities to hit targets within set timelines and budgets.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure projects align with our strategic goals, following best practices and methodologies.
- Resource Management: Develop detailed project plans, manage staffing, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Guide and support internal and external teams, assigning responsibilities and resolving issues.
- Status Reporting: Provide regular updates and lead meetings to track progress and address any concerns.
- Customer Focus: Maintain high standards of customer service and deliver consistent project outcomes.
- Adaptability: Embrace change and ambiguity, navigating evolving project landscapes effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s in information systems management or a similar field or equivalent experience. PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: At least 3 years managing projects, especially in software development.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with all project stakeholders.
- Agile Familiarity: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Atlassian.
- Organizational Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical skills to tackle project issues and foresee risks.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively.
- Facilitation: Excellent at gathering and documenting requirements, with strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Comfort with Change: Able to adapt to shifting project demands and environments.
- Golf Knowledge: Understanding of golf is a bonus, as it’s relevant to our projects.
