No prior work history is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates! Interns will be assigned a full-time mentor and will be embedded in team projects where possible.

Cybersecurity activities may include:
- Researching specific standards, technologies, and products
- Reviewing newly published cyber vulnerability reports
- Assisting in the identification and assessment of cybersecurity risks and threats to the organization's systems and data.
- Learning about security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS controls. (replace 1)
- Participating in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of systems and applications.
- Assisting in the implementation and configuration of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Learning about security technologies such as encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required
- Major in computer science, engineering, MIS, or information technology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Thorough understanding of internet research
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
