Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Manufacturing sector, located in Moreno Valley, California. This role is primarily responsible for managing administrative tasks, data entry, and accounts payable duties in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume data entry tasks with precision
- Support the back office by maintaining administrative systems and procedures
- Utilize computer data entry systems to maintain and update customer records
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable department to assist with invoice input
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
- Offer basic office support such as filing, organizing, and other administrative tasks
- Handle customer inquiries, providing excellent service and timely responses
- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status
- Maintain a systematic method of performing administrative assistance duties
- Ensure all data entry activities are accurate and updated on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Proven experience in data entry tasks including numeric data entry
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong administrative skills, including back office support and administrative office management
- Basic office skills such as filing, scheduling, and answering phones
- Experience with accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to work, taking initiative to complete tasks as necessary
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools is a plus.
