Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to manage the product lifecycle and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful evolution of TalentNow VMS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of understanding complex product environments, gathering and documenting requirements, and managing a backlog to ensure high-quality delivery by the development team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring they are clearly documented and aligned with the overall product vision.
Backlog Management: Maintain, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-organized, with clear user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
Documentation: Own the creation and management of product documentation, including specifications, user stories, and business processes. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, development teams, and business analysts to ensure the product features are delivered as per specifications and meet quality standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related queries. Communicate progress and changes effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant in the market.
Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure that the development team is working on the highest-priority items.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or product ownership
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
