General Summary: Reports to the Operations Manager, who provides objectives, timelines, resources, and responsibilities. This position is responsible for the administration of various systems and platforms as well as providing support for operational goals and objectives. This position works collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to assist in planning and implementing information technology projects and is challenged to improve information technology operational functionality.

- Responsible for implementing and maintaining active directory and group policy according to industry best practices with alignment to operational goals and objectives. Responsible for the application of group policy to all systems throughout the organization including security initiatives such as machine hardening and BitLocker.
- Supports the management, maintenance, and implementation of all systems deploying BitLocker to the organization.
- Responsible for user maintenance, policies, rules, and user security across various systems utilized by the organization.
- Supports an enterprise-wide technology business continuity and disaster recovery plan. Performs and reviews the results of system tests, system failures, and system failure analyses. Responsible for the integrity and performance of the backup systems and disaster recovery availability.
- Works with IT support team, both internal and contracted, to support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrade of all company systems, including servers, databases, storage solutions, network devices, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Responsible for documenting systems and processes on an ongoing basis.
- Utilizes a ticketing system to record change management for all hardware and software modifications and to assist end users with issue resolution.
- Supports event collection processes from all systems and ensures event collection integrity.
- Supports incident response plans by managing user access, validating system policies, and validating system rules in response to potential security threats.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Skill in managing and administering active directory and managing and applying group policy to a domain environment.
- Skill in problem solving to select, organize and logically process relevant information to solve a problem including the ability to recognize subtle aspects of problems and identify relevant information.
- Skill in written and oral communication to express complicated technical content and ideas to non-technical people.
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with business contacts in a business like, customer service-oriented manner.
- Languages: Required - Intermediate PowerShell
- Operating Systems: Required – Advanced Windows Desktop and Servers, Intermediate Linux
- Applications: Required – Active Directory, GPO, Azure (including DR), VMware, vSphere, Okta, Veeam, Event Collection, Remote Desktop Services, Citrix, BitLocker, Domain Management. Optional – RIS, PACS, Mirth, Qvera, MEDQ
- Hardware: Required – servers, workstations, virtual machine hosts, NAS/SAN, UPS
- This position will require driving a company vehicle or a personal vehicle; therefore, employees must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess, and maintain a current valid Texas Driver License, and proof of current insurance to be subject for mileage reimbursement.
Education and Training: Minimum high school education or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems (MIS) preferred. Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively perform all duties and responsibilities.
Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience implementing and supporting active directory and group policy required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting virtual infrastructure preferred.
Work Environment: Works primarily in an office setting and periodically in a clinical environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Mental / Physical Requirements: Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs. without assistance. Close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.
