As a Nitro Backend Developer, you will work closely with our backend technical lead and other team members to develop, maintain, and scale our backend systems. Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs, primarily using Go (Golang).
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to define and implement new features.
- Optimize and scale our backend systems to handle increasing traffic and ensure high performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and learn from peer reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
- Plot with the demon lord of the mystic backend realms to bring forth a thousand years of backend rule.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) is required.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL).
- Proficiency in handling large datasets.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Fluent in demonic tongues.
