The primary responsibility of the Hotel Analytics Manager is to manage and deliver a broad range of analytical products that drive portfolio-wide improvements in commercial & operational performance. This role will have a particular focus on driving forward initiatives related to labor optimization, as well as managing all aspects of PGHM’s workforce management system (WFM).
Role And Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of operational performance reporting, with a focus on delivering actionable business intelligence (BI) to drive tangible improvements.
- Conduct in-depth operational analyses as needed to provide deeper insights into performance trends.
- Oversee the strategy and execution of labor management across the portfolio, serving as the thought leader on labor optimization.
- Partner with the operations leadership team, acting as an internal advisor and coach, to design and implement effective labor management practices.
- Provide data-driven labor standard recommendations and manage the annual setup of labor standards in Peachtree’s Workforce Management (WFM) system.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Peachtree’s WFM platform, ensuring its smooth operation and leading initiatives to optimize its use for maximum benefit.
- Support process improvement efforts across PGHM by delivering automated tools to enhance decision-making.
- Mentor and develop team analysts, guiding them in the use of new tools and analytical techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business needs and make data-driven recommendations
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables and charts, conditional formatting, and data connections)
- Experience in data extraction and manipulation, with a working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with PowerQuery in Excel or PowerBI is a plus
- Experience in data visualization using tools like Excel (charts and filters) and BI platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau
- Previous experience in analytics within a customer-facing service industry
- Exposure to workforce planning systems and concepts, including labor standards, forecasting, scheduling, and time & attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hospitality Management
- Programming experience for analytics (e.g., Python/pandas)
- Background in mathematical modeling, operations research, industrial engineering, time series forecasting, or ML/AI
- Experience using data warehouse systems for analytics (e.g., Fabric, Snowflake)
- Experience in coaching and developing a team of analysts
