About the Position: The Job Coach is responsible for helping individuals with developmental disabilities develop the skills they need to attain employment in the competitive work force. About the Program: Location: Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Can vary depending on each individual schedule Responsibilities: Plan and implement a job coaching strategy. Assist adults with developmental disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the individual. Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience. Adhere to all HASC Center policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure manual. Education and Experience: High School Diploma / GED. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with routinely shifting demands. High degree of attention to detail.
