Key Responsibilities

- Formulate delivery plans that proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Direct delivery teams with urgency to ensure the rapid production of high-quality enhancements, addressing dependencies and resource allocation effectively.
- Ensure operational standardization and measurement, monitoring agile delivery metrics to promote the adoption of modern practices.
- Manage backlog demands, overseeing vendor capacity and budgets to facilitate timely resource allocation.
- Implement quality management processes, ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and perform optimally.
- Identify and incorporate essential nonfunctional requirements (such as performance and security) into project plans.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding project progress.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools, primarily Jira and Jira Align.
- Proficiency in various programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
- Expertise in current delivery and deployment practices, including CI/CD, quality automation, and test-driven development.
- Familiarity with web-specific processes and technologies, including UX design and front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a talent for delegating tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Over 7 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in designing and developing complex systems, with experience as a team lead.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and decisiveness in a fast-paced work environment.
