Our client, a highly successful venture capital firm with an office in Menlo Park is seeking to hire a Office Administrator to join their outstanding team! In this role, you will be the face of the office, greeting and directing guests, while providing the highest level of customer service. *Please note this is a 3-month temp role, with the possibility of extension. The pay is $30-32/hr*
What to Expect:
- Field and direct incoming phone calls
- Greet and welcome all visitors and guests
- Perform opening/closing duties
- Assist in sourcing candidates using a variety of recruiting tools and techniques
- Maintain communal office spaces and front reception area
- Track inventory of office supplies and order as needed
- Organize and distribute mail, packages, and other correspondence
- Take on various projects as needed
- Coordinate and ensure neat appearance of reception area and conference rooms.\
- Manage meeting room calendars and set up conference room Zooms and dial-ins for meetings.
- Serve as point of contact for vendors; arrange and coordinate food and beverages for meetings as requested by staff.
- Assist with planning and coordinating the office events.
- Provide assistance for the Administrative team when needed including travel, calendar, and emails.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Expert in time management and working at the fastest pace
- Friendly and outgoing nature; customer service-oriented approach
- Capacity to maintain grace and composure under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- 1+ years of office experience preferred
