CDW is looking for a Security Support Analyst for a 12 month contract! In this role you will be joining our clients team, working primarily on security-related tickets in support of engineering, QA, development datacenter, and labs. The ideal candidate will be focused on responding to security issues, remediating vulnerabilities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure system security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to security tickets, resolving issues related to vulnerability management, system security, and configuration.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation and mitigation by utilizing tools like Rapid7, Tenable, and Automox.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to weak credentials, LDAP, Active Directory (AD), and other IAM-related concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve security issues, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
- Help manage and troubleshoot proxy and firewall configurations, resolving network security issues as they arise.
- Utilize Python and Bash scripting to automate repetitive security tasks and workflows.
- Use Ansible and AWX to assist with security automation and configuration management.
- Generate reports and maintain dashboards for security vulnerability status and resolution progress using Rapid7 and similar tools.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience working with Active Directory (AD) and LDAP for identity and access management.
- Basic scripting/programming skills in Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with Ansible and AWX for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools like Rapid7 and Tenable.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, particularly in vulnerability remediation and security incident response.
- Experience working with proxy and firewall configurations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates.
