Job Description
As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's data analytics team. You'll work closely with various departments to understand their marketing-focused analytical needs and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards, and actionable insights. This role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, cleansing data, and developing data science models to solve real business problems. Your contributions will help shape the direction of marketing strategies and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced business analysis using statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and data mining, with a focus on marketing data.
- Develop and maintain SQL-based data pipelines and create dashboards to visualize key marketing metrics.
- Conduct causal inference analysis to uncover relationships between marketing initiatives and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analytical requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Generate ad hoc reports and data extracts to support marketing and business decisions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve marketing processes and campaign performance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data science.
Required Experience/Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and pipeline development.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in statistical modeling and data analysis.
- Experience building dashboards and visualizing marketing data.
- Solid understanding of causal inference and its applications in marketing.
- Proven ability to perform statistical analysis and develop predictive models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large datasets and marketing data infrastructure.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in financial technology or SaaS industries.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application to marketing data.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a quantitative or marketing-related field is a plus.
