Who We Are and Who We are Looking For:
S.G. Cunningham (SGC) has been building spaces and community in southwestern Ontario for almost 50 years. We are looking to add a Project Coordinator to our thriving team. The Project Coordinator will support our team of Project Managers with a variety of tasks both in the office and on-site, and must be comfortable with and have a strong knowledge of Procore.
What You Will Do
- Assist Project Managers (PMs) with managing all aspects of their projects through Procore.
- Assist PMs by drafting a variety of documents, including purchase orders, quotations, invoices, contracts, subcontracts, and RFPs.
- Assist PMs by attending site meetings to record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Assist PMs by attending client meeting to determine project scope and requirements.
- Assist PMs by monitoring the ongoing progress of a project, including quality, work hours, budgets, and expenses.
- Assist PMs by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with subtrades, consultants, designers, and clients.
- Assist PMs by relaying any relevant project information that may impact the project’s schedule, timing, or budget.
- Assist PMs by supporting the Site Superintendent and crew.
- Assist PMs by overseeing subcontractor activities to ensure project timelines and standards are met.
- Assist PMs by closing tenders and completing project start-ups and close-outs.
- Assist PMs by managing the documentation of a project, including filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist PMs with other duties as may be required.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Project Coordinator, or in an equivalent role, with a General Contractor.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience using Procore as a Project Coordinator (must be familiar with most of the platform’s tools).
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, time management, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills and a strong comfort level with technology.
- The ability to read and understand construction-related drawings, documents, and specifications.
- The ability, comfort, and confidence to ask questions, to admit when you don’t know something, and to proactively identify problems and potential solutions.
- A G Driver’s License, access to a vehicle, and a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with NetSuite would be an asset.
