One of my clients, a highly successful Construction Recruitment Agency have set up a new office in London. They are now seeking an experienced team administrator to join their team, and grow with them,. You will play a pivotal role in allowing them to grow their team significantly over the coming years. They are looking for someone that wants a long-term career in a role that will evolve and develop over time as the team grows with the option for future progression and development as they grow their business. This position has the opportunity to develop longer term into an Office Manager role, and have future management ability.
You will be providing support to the team and also keeping an eye on the wider sales team, making sure that office rules and procedures are being followed.
You will be working onsite Mon to Thurs and working from home on a Friday. You can also finish early at 3pm on a Friday!
The role:-
- Being the first point of contact for calls and communication into the business
- Meet and greet clients and office visitors
- Assistance in marketing and social media.
- General office administration to support the team
- Booking meetings and doing some diary management for the Directors and senior team members
- Booking restaurants and travel arrangements
- Being the point of contact for all office and facilities related management, including stationary and refreshments, contracts for telephones, IT services etc.
- Booking holidays and team social events such as the Christmas party.
- onboarding new starters, setting up IT equipment
- Ordering stationary
- Ad hoc duties to assist the management team and the success of the agency as a whole
- assist in ad hoc projects
The ideal candidate:-
- This position will grow and evolve and you will see more areas that you can assist with over time and more projects that you can take on. They are therefore looking for someone proactive, that will seek out areas they can add value and take pressure off the leadership team
- Ideally you will have experience in an senior admin role within a Recruitment Agency or sales team, such as Team Assistant, Sales Support etc
- You need strong communication skills, to manage expectations, confirm timeframes and give updates to consultants on pieces of work
- You will need to be confident and push back to the team as necessary.
- You will need the ability to multitask and work on lots of projects and areas simultaneously and be able to prioritise your own work load effectively
- You need to be proactive and have a can-do attitude, finding ways to solve problems
- You will be a strong communicator with a positive attitude, and friendly and approachable for consultants internally and for external clients.
