Holder Construction Company, an Atlanta based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our team in our Atlanta Office.
Job Summary: The Business Analyst focuses on presenting relevant data to meet specific needs. Working alongside the rest of the Data Estate team, the Business Analyst will build dynamic reports that help drive business processes.
This role will be fully onsite in our Atlanta Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with subject matter experts to understand the challenges/business needs that data can help solve.
- Translate those needs to the Data Engineer and Modeling group to develop specifications and document requirements.
- Produce reports or processes that meet the needs of the business.
- Recommend changes to business processes to help facilitate these needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders.
- Experience with business process modeling and improvement techniques.
- This position is fully in-office in Atlanta, GA.
Preferred Tools and Software:
- Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Documentation tools such as Confluence.
- Task and workload management tools similar to Azure DevOps or Jira.
- SQL data backend.
- Process diagramming software similar to LucidChart.
