Graphic Designer Creative and Project Solutions (CAPS) is the in-house creative agency supporting consumer-focused marketing for multiple brands within Strategic Education, Inc.’s portfolio. Fueled by a growth mindset, the CAPS team drives creative strategy, executes effectively on project initiatives, and creates impactful marketing solutions. The Graphic Designer creates visual solutions to communicate ideas and concepts.The Graphic Designer supports the marketing department, PR, Events, Admissions, Academics and other teams, as well as our campus locations. This position collaborates within the creative team and internal and external partners including vendors and agencies to ensure all creative projects meet brand standards, are within budget and are completed on schedule.The Graphic Designer handles multiple projects that range in creative and technical complexity including email, print, branding, illustration, animation, digital, video, corporate materials, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with writers, other designers, internal marketing partners and external agencies to take consumer-facing collateral from concept to final execution.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects, adjusting for shifting priorities as needed.
- Interpret client needs, research materials and project strategy provided in the creative brief to develop creative and innovative design solutions for a diverse and wide array of projects.
- Work with brand and style guidelines to formulate, create, and execute concepts.
- Create world class design experiences for marketing projects including but not limited to:
– Email – University guides and catalogs
– Brochures
– Print
– Display and paid media ads
– Social media
– Animation
– Video editing
– Direct mail
– Events
– Presentations
– Invitations
– Posters
– Newsletters
– Promotional items

Work Experience
- 3-6 years of experience with digital, web and print, collateral, graphics, and corporate identity elements
- Design portfolio required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience using Figma design platform.
- Digital Illustration, video production/editing skills are a plus.
- Experience with design systems and Figma a plus.
- Familiarity with working on a geographically distributed/hybrid team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution in Graphic Design and/or digital marketing related field.
