What You Will Do
The Lead, Digital Shelf Optimization is a high-impact role within the U.S. Consumer Experience (CX) team, driving the execution and continuous improvement of the digital shelf consumer journey for our Consumer Health brands. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive Growth: Execute end-to-end digital shelf strategies to optimize the consumer journey, enhancing conversion rates.
- Content Creation: Manage the entire content optimization process, from identifying needs and content development to syndication to retailers.
- Content Optimization: Perform updates such as carousel images, SEO refreshes, and mobile-optimized images for product detail pages (PDPs).
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute digital shelf content strategies aligned with brand roadmaps, ensuring consistency and seamless consumer experiences.
- Retailer Requirements: Become an expert in retailer content standards, delivering best-in-class content across platforms.
- PDP Audits & Optimization: Conduct regular audits of retailer PDPs to identify areas for improvement and develop optimization roadmaps.
- Performance Tracking: Use A/B testing, AI tools, and analytics to measure the impact of content changes on metrics like search share, conversion rate, and organic traffic.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Brand, Sales, Research) and external partners to ensure continuous alignment with consumer insights and industry trends.
- Agile Methodology: Champion agile working methods, focusing on outcomes over activities to optimize content performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in digital content creation (agency or client-side).
- Skills:
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities, with a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with tools like Salsify, copy approval systems, and content performance measurement platforms.
- Strong time management skills, able to prioritize and deliver results on schedule.
- Ability to analyze data from multiple sources, driving insights that inform impactful solutions.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and experimentation.
- Strong understanding of the integrated marketing landscape and digital's role within it.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influence skills to convey strategies, recommendations, and results.
