About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Bookkeeper and HR Coordinator who will help with the day to day HR tasks and accounting. We are aiming to build a team that is very results-driven and shares a get-it-done mentality. In order to fit the role, you should be a team player at heart who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
What You’ll Be Doing -
On the financial side you will be helping with accounting related tasks, including:
- Enter invoices into QB
- Book company travel
- Take part in the billing process
- Help with the month close process
- Help preparing the company’s reports such as cash forecast, consolidated reports, etc
- Help with bank related tasks such as depositing checks, preparing payments, and bank reconciliation
On the HR side you will mostly:
- Review resumes
- Perform the initial candidates screening
- Schedule on-site interviews
- Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding employees
- Help with renewal of employees benefits - including medical
- HR related tasks
What do you need to bring:
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, time management skills
- Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision
- Can do it attitude, willing to improve processes, high sense of ownership
- Experience with QuickBooks - highly preferred
- SalesForce experience - a plus
- Experience with bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation - a plus
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts
- A team player, adept at building relationship across the organization
- Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
